How to play Thirteen (Tiến Lên)
Goal: be the first to get rid of all 13 of your cards.
Card order (low → high): 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 J Q K A 2. The 2 is the strongest card.
On your turn, beat the pile with a higher play of the same shape, or tap Pass.
Shapes you can play: a single card, a pair (two of a kind), a triple, a run of 3+ in a row (e.g. 5-6-7), or double-runs (pairs in a row like 7-7-8-8-9-9).
When everyone else passes, the pile clears and you lead any new shape you like.
Chopping a 2: a four-of-a-kind or three pairs in a row can beat a lone 2 — a fun way to knock down that big card!
