The classic two-player card game. Build melds — runs (3+ in a suit) and sets (3-4 of a rank) — and shrink your leftover "deadwood." Knock when your deadwood is 10 or less, or go for Gin (zero). First to 100 points wins.

How to play Gin Rummy

Each turn: first draw one card — either the face-down stock or the face-up discard pile — then discard one card.
Melds: a run is 3+ cards in a row of the same suit (♥5-6-7); a set is 3 or 4 of the same rank (♠8 ♥8 ♦8). Melded cards are marked with a green bar.
Deadwood: your leftover unmatched cards. Aces = 1, number cards = their number, J/Q/K = 10. The counter shows your deadwood total.
Knock: when your deadwood is 10 or less, you may knock after discarding to end the hand. Gin = zero deadwood (a 25-point bonus).
Scoring: the knocker scores the difference in deadwood. If the other player ties or has less (an "undercut"), they score the difference plus 25. First to 100 wins.
Take your time — the computer waits for you.
