How to play Cribbage
You each get 6 cards and tuck 2 into the crib — a bonus hand that belongs to the dealer.
A starter card is cut. (If it's a Jack, the dealer pegs 2!)
The play: take turns laying cards, adding their values (face cards 10, Ace 1) without passing 31. Peg for hitting 15 (2), 31 (2), pairs (2, 6, 12!), and runs of 3 or more. Can't play? Say "Go" — your opponent pegs 1.
The show: count your hand with the starter — every combination adding to 15 scores 2, plus pairs, runs, flushes, and 1 for the Jack of the starter suit. Dealer also counts the crib.
First to 121 wins — even in the middle of counting!
