How to play 2048
Goal: join numbers until you make a 2048 tile.
Move: tap the arrow buttons (▲ ▼ ◀ ▶) under the board to slide every tile that way. You can also use the arrow keys, or swipe on a touchscreen.
Join: when two tiles with the same number slide into each other, they become one tile with double the number — two 2s make a 4, two 4s make an 8, and so on.
After every move a new 2 appears on the board.
Tip: keep your biggest number in one corner and slide mostly in two directions.
There’s no clock — take all the time you like. The game ends only when the board is full with no moves left.
